  • Facilitating online medical consultations with a contracted healthcare provider (doctor)

  • Communication regarding appointments and the consultation process

  • Issuing documents, prescriptions, and certificates as part of the consultation

  • Legal record-keeping and accounting

  • With your consent, also for service feedback and sending information about news and updates

2. Legal basis for data processing

We process your data based on:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract

  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligation

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent of the data subject

  • Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR – processing of special categories of data for healthcare purposes

3. Categories of processed data

We process the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: first name, last name, date of birth

  • Contact data: email, phone number

  • Health information that you provide during the consultation

  • Information about the appointment and consultation process

  • Technical data related to access to the secure system (logs, IP address)

4. Recipients of data

Personal data is only shared with:

  • The contracted doctor providing the consultation

  • The provider of the secure technical platform used for communication

  • The accountant and tax advisor (to the extent necessary for billing)

  • Relevant public authorities in case of a legal obligation

5. Transfer to third countries

Your data is not transferred outside the EU or to third countries without appropriate safeguards.

6. Data retention period

We retain your data for the period necessary to fulfill its purpose – primarily for the duration of the service and in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your data

  • Request correction or deletion (if there is no legal reason to retain it)

  • Restrict the processing of your data

  • Object to the processing of your data

  • File a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (https://dataprotection.gov.sk)

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, including secure connections, authentication within third-party systems, and encrypted data storage.
